  • (1) PDC or Plus Two or equivalent and one year experience as a care giver in any of the child care institution recognised by the Kerala State Orphanage Control Board under Social welfare Department.
    (2) Should possess good physique.
  • Note:(a) KS & SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is valid.
  • Note:(b) Applicants who demand similar qualifications instead of the qualifications referred to in the Notice shall apply the applicable Government Order to prove equivalence at the time of the examination, and only that qualification shall then be submitted. The certificate concerned shall be considered as equal to the specified one.
  • Note:(c) In the case of discrepancies in the original caste / community stated in the application and entered in the SSLC record, the applicant shall, at the time of certificate verification, submit a Gazette notice in this regard along with the Non Creamy Layer Certificate / Community Certificates.

NOTE:- 

1. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to Communities other than the Scheduled Tribe/ Scheduled Caste community will be summarily rejected.  Individual communication regarding the rejection of their application will not be issued.

1. (i) Care Taker (Female) appointed by direct recruitment/promotion shall undergo an  in-service training for a period of 3 months under the supervision and guidance of the Probation Officer of the District in which he is appointed as per the detailed programme determined by the Director of Social Justice.
(ii) The training period shall be treated as duty for all service benefits.

2. Every person appointed to the category shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.

3. (i) Candidates shall produce Experience Certificate in the form appended below with Declaration part signed by the Director Kerala State Orphanage Control Board.
(ii) The name of Institution and period of service should be furnished in the column prescribed for noting the experience in the application.
(iii) The Experience Certificate obtained from private institutions shall be attested by the Social Welfare Officer.

  1. Candidates must register with the official Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) website www.keralapsc.gov.in as per ‘ONE TIME REGISTRATION’ before applying for a post. Candidates who have registered can apply using their User-ID and password by logging on to their profile.To apply for the post, candidates must click on the ‘Apply Now’ button on the respective post in the Notification Page. The candidate’s name and the date of photograph taken should be written at the bottom of the frame.
  2. Candidates are expected to take the application printout by clicking on the Registration Card connection in their profile. Candidates are responsible for the accuracy of the personal data and password confidentiality. Before the application is submitted, applicants must ensure that the details in their profile is correct. (They must quote the User-ID for further
    communication with the Commission)
  3. If Written / OMR / Online Training is undertaken as part of this process, candidates can request a confirmation to write the exam via their One Time Registration Profile. Such candidates alone will create and submit the tickets for admission within the last 15 days before the test date.
  4. Reasonable disciplinary action pursuant to Rule 22 of the Rules of Practice shall be taken against all applicants who send applications with false qualification statements about qualifications , experience, etc. and send written notice of the test, irrespective of whether they are present or absent for the exam.
  5. Candidates with AADHAAR card must include AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in profile.
